Abstract

Thene wane objectives that made the French nthoritie to Launch a Campaign to the East some to these objectives were politicos , others were economic because Egypt was a site that links the three continents ; Asia , Africa and Europe H was a commercial path between the East and the west .
The campaign set out to Egypt then to Syria there napoleon was defeated . he couldnot cross Syria . hence the title of this study stems '' Napoleons siege to akka '' .
