Abstract

Novel is made up of some elements including characters, time, place, and incident. What we want to mention here is the character that plays an important role in the artistic structure of any novel.
So the novel losses its strategy without this component.
There fore, character is a major subject in novel and it has captured the critics attention. it seems that the structure of any novel depends on its characters i.e . the lack of character in any novel makes the other element not to play a good role in the artistic structure of the novel. There fore, the novelists have paid lots of attention to show the characters in the novel. They express all their intentions and aims through the exposition of various characters so that the readers will be acquainting with the nature of characters, due to covering a wide area in the novels by characters, we intend to shed light on character in Hussein arifs novel (andeshay mirovek), we have divided this paper into tow chapters.
The first chapter falls into three sections: the first section deals with the term character linguistically and lexically. The second section introduces the definition and concept of character according to some sociologists and psychologists, and in section three, importance of character in the novel has been mentioned.
The second chapter also falls into three sections: the first section is about various types of characters according to function, nature importance and the structure and the structure of characters. The second section introduce the summary of Hussein arifs novel (andeshay mirovek), third section sheds light on the analysis of characters in the novel crilically.
