Abstract

The Present research aims at investigating the role of a counselor in maintaining the thought security for preparatory school students. Sample consist of (250) male and female counselors in Nineveh Governorate. To fulfill the aim of the research, the researcher prepared an instrument of (41) items. The t-test z-test and Pearson correlation for mule.
Have been used as statistical means to analyze data. The findings show that the role of counselors are active in maintaining the thought security for the students in regards to the view of male and female consulted teachers. The findings also show that female counselors are more active than male counselors in maintaining the thought security according to the view of female consulted teachers.
