Abstract

Current research aims is identify psychological and Academical adjustment of adolescents students in intermediate and secondary schools, and identify the differences between psychological and Academical adjustment according of the gender (male & female). For lt the researcher selected (32) intermediate and secondary schools for male and female (12) intermediate and secondary schools in the center of Erbil city, (10) schools in the Sulaimania city and (10) schools in the Duhok city after this the researcher selected (30) students in each of the school, as a sample of research the total of the number of the sample number become (960) male and female students in all the cities of Kurdistan region/Iraq, to achieve the research aims and after confident upon some psychological and educational sources and perform scientifically study upon on sample of teachers and educational counselor and opinion, guidance of group of experts in psychological educational social fields, the researcher prepared two tools: psychological measuremeant which included (44) idioms, Academical measure meant which included (47) idioms.
The each of idioms has three options, after prefor, validity and reliability process and scientific and linguistic correct for each of them.
The researcher practiced the measurement upon the sample of research, the research shows these results:
1- The adolescents in the intermediate and secondary schools they have psychological and educational adjustment.
2- The researcher shows there are significant statistical. differences between adolescents in psychological and educational adjustment according the Sex variable (male & female) the benefit is of the male.
