Abstract

This paper deals with reproduction in Alghirnati's Dalli'ia. It stresses the poetic formation of this poem. As far as form is concerned ,the poem is considered as one of Ibn Assim's long poems which consists of 120 lines. The poem which is written in the long metre, reproduces two wonderful poems .One of these poems is written in green and uses the simple 'Mukhalla' metre. The other poem is written in red and uses the quick metre. Each of these 'Daughters' reproduces 'Muashaha'. The first is green and and uses the simple metre or the 'Ragis', while the second is red and uses the ragis or the quick metre.
Most importantly is the fact that the poet reproduces his two wonderful Muashahas which have mentioned before from the Mother Dalli'ia. These poems, however,consist of 108 lines. The last tenth of the Dalli'ia consists of 12 lines. The poet doesn't choose anything from it in reproducing the two Daughters or the Muashahats as he does with the opening lines of the Mother poem. Instead, he uses these lines only as a characterization of the preceding lines. As far as content is concerned, the Dalli'ia focuses on eulogizing sultan Abi Alghagag Yousif Bin Nasir whose character is the centre of the poet's interest in this poem.
