Abstract

The research aims at showing the role of Islamic Orgainzation Conference in Bosnia- Helsogovinan war between 1992-1995. The organization tried to activate its policiesaccording to its position and play an effective role in the different international political arenas after the cold war and the emergence of a new international system through complying with development of the war and to defend the Muslim republic of Bosnia Helsogovina on the international level. It tried to offer all the possible support to hlp them win the war. The nature of the research necesitated that this paper to be divided into three main parts. The first part dealt with the emergence and the development of the Islamic Organizationn Conference in brief while the second part tackled the study of dissolvement of the United SocialistRepublic of Bosnia Helsogovina and the breakout of the war in that republic 1991-1995. The third part dealt with the study and clarification of the attitude of the Islamic Organization Conference in detail towards the war in the republic of Bosnia-Helsogovina 1992-1995.In order to reach the desired scientific objectives we tried not to get bound by one spesific method in analysing and evaluating the attitude of the Islamic Organization Conference in the above mentioned war. We applied diffeerent methods in the process of the research writing inclding the analytical ( descriptive) as well as a comparitive method according to the documents and the resources that are related to this subject, nevertheless; the official documents of the Islamic Organization Conference and the resolutions of Islamic summit conferences and the resolutions of the ministry of foreign affairs of member states in addition to using different other reousrces in different languages that had been referred to in the bibliography.
