Abstract
An Analysis of the Some Stanzas from ‘’TERCÄ°-Ä° BEND’’ BAY HÄ°JRÄ° DEDE The cont temprorary Turkmen poet Muhmmed Ali whose fame name is Hijri Dede wrote poems in all the types of poetry in the histroy of Turkmen literature. No other contemporay Turkmen poet has written in the form of Terci-i bent except Hijri dede. His book ‘’Ä°ntibah-i Millet’’ is a proof of this. Ä°n this study some of the parts of this verse book is analysed and the poet’s rejection of any sort of religious fanatism based on sectarianism is clearly shown. This impoırtant work of Hijri Dede takes the from of a book of advice. In his attempt to dırect people to the right path in life he also tries to show the bad aspects of sectarian fanatism which benefits only those who try to divide the nation and the imperialist countries. Among the Turkish and especially among the Iraqi Turkmans sectarian fanatism does not exist.
