Abstract

The research is based on studying the complaint in the poetry of Fityan AlChagoury , an objective critical study. It shows the self and human side of his poetry; Because the complaint is a literary phenomenon present in his poetry that expresses his psychological state and his social reality by broadcasting his suffering, his nation's and his pain in human feelings; It reveals the delicacy of his sense and his deep experience, in the significance of the complaint in stirring up emotions and sensations with a structure that goes beyond the lexical connotation to objective, subjective and social connotations that depict his vision of reality and what it contains - sensory and moral - of deprivation and injustice that produced despair and oppression; The complaint for him manifested itself in four axes - the complaint about the separation of the brothers and companions, the poverty , the calamities of time and its consequences, and the rulers and deputies through a fully-fledged poetic experiment.
