Abstract

Certainly, writing about Goran’s poems is not new, since his poems have been the concern of many researchers. However, writing about the details of his poems has been of little concern, especially those poems that are beyond his political views and are about the beauty of nature.This research is entitled “Poetic Imagery in the Poem (Trip in Hawraman) by Goran”. It is an attempt to explore the style in which Goran used for creating poetic imagery in his poems, especially in his poem (Trip in Hawraman). Since, in Kurdish modern poetry Goran is the best imagist poet, the research tries to focus on poetic images that he created in the mentioned poem.This study is an analytic and descriptive, it is divided into two chapters. The first chapter is dedicated to the definition and the concept of poetic imagery, and its significance for Goran. Also, it focuses on the methods and styles that he has used to create poetic imagery in his poems.The second chapter is devoted to one of Goran’s masterpiece, which is (Trip in Hawraman). It studies the poetic imagery in the poem along with the styles that he has used to create imagery in his poem. Finally, the study ends with conclusion and a list of the consulted sources.
