Abstract

ABSTRACTThe term, being a key for knowledge ,has become an active means that helps researchers to understand sciences and using them. Therefore, recent linguistic studies have taken great care in studying it. Researchers wanted to define its scope and to dig deep into its emergence and development. Phonetics just like other sciences needs an accurate term to understand its cases and explore its secrets. This was done by the reciting scientists including Abdul wahab AL-Qurtubee who studied linguistic terms according to a clear phonetic style through his book " AL-Muwadhah fil Tajweed" . His style was characterized by scientific accuracy and was intellectually mature in dealing with phonetic terms .research keys ( phonetic term).
