Abstract

The relationship between Turkish and Mongolian began during the Altay Language Association period. Altay Association of Language Theory, Turkish, Mongolian, Manchu-Tungusic, Korean and Japanese language is a theory which advocates that came from a common source. Altay languages between voice and a number of structures are common features in terms of syntax. Among the languages included in this group, the closest one to Turkish is Mongolian. Turkish and Mongols lived side by side and sometimes intertwined for a long time. So in many ways the two nations have influenced each other. The main signs of this interaction are the mutual borrowing of words between the two languages in the field of language. In this study, the words of Mongolian in Iraqi Turkmen Turkish were collected and searched for, Uygur,Karahan, Khwarezm, Chagatai and Kipchak Turkish court has tried to determine, then compared with the shapes of Mongolian has tried to explain the meaning or shape between them.Keywords: Iraqi Turkmen Turkish, Mongolian words, dalda, nuḫta.
