Abstract

Iemad Abdul salam is one of the iraqi historians in terms of the large number of his works , Known in iraq and Arab countries level , so I chose thise title to my research , " Imad abdul salam his live basis and his thought " the importance of his character and the importance of the subject historically , and to clarfify the reasons who created the charactar and size of Imad abdul salam .Thise research is divided into four sections , The ferst section date of berth and his family , second topic : progress and caltuer , the third one abaut his role in society and jobs , that means talking about the effect of the inviroment and cities who lived there was mention them , and libraries that benefited them , and the school who has studied there, and the Universities wiich studied in , and where he taught , and in the last section talk about some historians Opinion about him .His family was important to his conseption of the role of this phase , in providing the right atmosphere for education and his writings , his passion for education from a young age , and his love of learning has led to this work of innovation thier respective fields , Various writings , but most on the history of Iraq in era of castomized Ottoman Empire , but it has important historical writings on the Kurds , the important point of hie writions conserned with field visits areas that he writing about , in other works , has not been adopted were the writings but visited him personally .
