Abstract

The study aims to identify the nature of earthquakes and volcanoes, and the reasons for their occurrence and to reveal the geomorphological effects that occur during earthquakes and volcanoes and their effects on humans and its environment, as well as to reach a number of conclusions and proposals that limit those effects. The study shows that the geomorphological effects that occur during earthquakes and volcanoes are not limited in the region of occurrence only, but extend beyond the limits of those areas, to pose a threat to human life, and study the negative effects by identifying some of the most destructive earthquakes and volcanoes that have occurred in the world.
