Abstract

It was the population increase that Kirkuk has witnessed ,and what is associated with this increase is urbanization significant impact on increased demand for services Especially for consumer industries . To a degree that these services cannot provide for the needs of the growing population , this is due to the lack of prior planning to contain any potential population increase, this necessitates the intervention of planners ,decision makers and those interested in development to take the measure to achieve what they want in obtaining services and goods, especially consumer goods ,ensuring fair distribution and choosing the right location to provide services efficiently. That`s where she came from ,the importance of this study which aims to the potential characteristics of the city of Kirkuk in order to see the image of the existing spatial distribution ,the study relied on a descriptive analytical approach to data processing ,and relying on some statistical methods that serve research ,and graphic representation and cartographer , in order to highlight the characteristics of the distribution of ovens in terms of their proximity to each other from the face and measurement of the point of concentration and the direction of distribution from another ,the study found that most ovens concentrated in old and densely populated neighborhoods, which was negatively reflected in the weakness of these industries in modern neighborhoods , and create a disparity in the distribution of the phenomenon, the study concluded with a number of solutions and proposals aimed at making the right use of citizens from these industries , Also the use of GIS applications as an integrated system contributes to the application of the criteria for the selection of ovens sites.
