Abstract

The Evolution of Christianity traces back to the appearance of Jesus Christ (be peace up on him), when he was calling for his mission at Palestine. It is because this religion, Christianity and the presonality of Jesus Christ that the Gregorian Calender emerged. Later on this religion headed toward the east by the efforts of the students and converts of the Jesus Christ. Among the areas which recieved the religion was the city of Karkuk. The name (Karkuk) was mentioned in the Sasanian source under the world forms (Beth Garme) and (Ba Garme), (Krykh Slokh). A year later, the sasanian Empire was established by (Ardasher the son of Babak whose father was Sasan), in (226 A.D). This event happened after he defeated Ardawan the fifth, the latest king of Ashkani and brought the Empire of Ashkani. Ever since, till the year (651 A.D) when the Sasanian state collapsed, the Sasanian were engaged in struggle with the Christian include those of Karkuk. The reason for that was the fact that the Sasanian thought of Zoroastrainism, the Byzantine formally converted to Christianity who was the opponent of Sasanian Empire. There fore, the Sassnian thought of the Christian as backers of the Byzantine and spared no pain to oppose them. Hence, motivated by conducting a research paper on the Christians of Karkuk at the reign of Sasanian Empire, we have divided the research paper in to a threshold we death with the evolution of Sasanian Empire. At the first axis we talked about the evolution of Christiamity and it s outspread all over the state and in Karkuk specially. The second axis is devoted to set forth the conditians of Karkuk Christiams at that stage. Finally the research paper firdings.
