Abstract
This research deals with the classification of a morphological unit in accordance with some rules of universal grammar. It focuses on types compound nouns according to the morphological and syntactic analysis through which two types of compound nouns have been identified depending on the existence of the head in compound noun. These two types of compound nouns are: Endocentric and Exocentric. Moreover, the compound noun has been identified based on the existence of the head at beginning or end of the compound noun and according to the syntactic analysis four types of compound nouns have been identified.
