Abstract

The city of Kirkuk is one of the Iraqi cities that attracted the attention of researchers during its historical stages due to its strategic location, so it took the lead from the economic, military and scientific importance. It was the focus of many history celebrities who came to it from every region to seek knowledge or work in it or to exercise their political or religious role, if it gained Those historical figures are the interest of many authors who wrote in the field of personal biographies, including Khair al-Din Al-Zarkali, who mentioned in his famous book Al-Alam Al-Alam Dictionary of Translations of the most famous men and women from Arabs, Arabists and Orientalists, quite a number of famous Kirkuk city, and from here came our study marked (historical figures from The city of Kirkuk through the book of media by Dr. Khair al-Din Al-Zarkali).
