Abstract

Nature – with all its great cosmic secrets – is the sweet manhal from which the poets drew their pictures , they left nothing but descriptions, and they talked about all its manifestations at great length because nature is the poet spirit from which the poet draws his poetry and ideas , through its live and rigid images that are found in this universe. This research aims to show the impact of nature and portray it in its live, animated, silent or rigid axes. This effect was clearly manifested in the poetry of Abi al-Atahiya, through his images that he addressed in his poetry. The research plan consists of a preface and two topics, the preface is devoted to clarifying the contents of the title in full , from the definitions of the contents of the title and clarifying the impact of nature in Arabic poetry and the biography of the poet and everything related to it. The first topic is devoted to the statement of the living nature of the poet in all its forms , and the second topic to the statement of the silent nature, indicating the places in which the poet spoke about nature in his diwan , then the research concluded with a conclusion containing all the results that he reached in his research, including the research .
