Abstract
The research aimed to show the economic interests between Iraq and Turkey, which expanded significantly after 2003, especially during the era of the Justice and Development Party, through economic projects between the two countries, especially the reconstruction process that Iraq is going through after the destruction that occurred as a result of the regime's policies before 2003. Iraq is considered an economic and investment dimension for Turkey, and Turkey is looking forward to playing an important role through the entry of Turkish companies into Iraq. Iraq has a great influence on the Turkish economy, which made the Iraqi and Turkish parties conclude important strategic agreements in various fields. The research relied on the descriptive analytical approach, then reached a set of results, the most important of which is that Turkey, like other countries, seeks to obtain markets, and it has continued to look forward to a position in the European market and the European Union, as well as to strengthen its presence in Arab markets, including the Iraqi market, which has become an important part of the future Turkish economic awareness, because it is a large market, and has a consumerist tendency, as the modern tendency to consume in Iraq is high, and this represents an attractive factor for the Turkish business community.
