Abstract

Orientalists have many fields of work. The matter did not stop at what he wrote about the East and its civilization, or spoke about it, or what he saw during their trips there.Rather, there is another type of Orientalist activity that Westerners paid attention to, which is harnessing their artistic creativity to express the East and its civilization.Especially Muslims and their countries ( singers, and those fond of music, oriental melodies, and oriental musical instruments, or Islamic in origin and origin). The phenomenon of Orientalism was born in Eastern music, melodies, and Eastern or Islamic musical instruments with the European Renaissance. It began to grow and crystallize with the development of the techniques and methods of European art itself on the one hand and the development of European knowledge of Eastern artistic civilizations, especially the study of Islamic art and the arts of the ancient, medieval and modern East on the other hand. The other matter is interest in Islamic arts and their collection in museums in European countries, where there was a group of Western Orientalists who devoted their lives to tracking down the remaining traces of Muslims in various parts of the Islamic world. These people were fond of Islam and its civilization through interest in the music of Muslims, musical instruments and musical melodies, as they tried in every way possible. Know this art and study it.
