Abstract

The month of Ramadan is one of the most important and distinctive months for Muslims among the rest of the months. It is ranked in the ninth month of the Gregorian calendar, which comes after the month of Sha'ban. It is one of the most important and distinctive months for Muslims. It is the month of fasting, as people abstain from food and drink during its days, as well as many actions that invalidate fasting. How could it not be, as it is one of the pillars of Islam, and according to the Almighty’s saying (O you who believe, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you). This month has a clear impact in uniting the ranks of Muslims through the rituals and activities that are held during the month, such as Tarawih prayers (the congregation), as well as gathering for the Iftar meal and inviting people to each other.
