Abstract

Murrah al-Hamdani
interpreted
Marra Al-Hamdani was a follower, a worshipper, a trustworthy person, and a good, blessed personality remembered by generations. He used to pray hundreds of rak'ahs during the day and night, so he was called (Marra Al-Khair) and (Marra Al-Tayeb). His prayers distracted him from spreading knowledge and caring for it, and he left a good impression in the souls of Muslims. He has a prominent scientific position in the science of interpretation. It has been said that he narrated interpretive narrations from the Prophet, and he also has narrations from the great companions, such as (Abu Bakr, Omar, Ibn Masoud, Ibn Abbas, Abu Hurairah, and others). Therefore, he is trustworthy, as the people of knowledge have testified to him. Many narrators narrated from him, such as: (Ismail Al-Suddi, Husayn bin Abdul Rahman, Al-Shaabi, Ata bin Al-Saib, and others). His approach to interpretation was that he combined (interpretation by tradition) and (interpretation by opinion). Therefore, his impact on interpretation has the scientific value and position that befits him among his peers. Therefore, he is worthy of more attention and appreciation. And the care and circulation of students and researchers, throughout time .
