Abstract

A man who develops his/her personal development by courtesy of training of mother language also be a person who acquires common worths that related to society which he/she lives with. National identity be acquired by curtesy of mother language and be transported the next generations. This study prepared to provide sollutions to problems about the Turkish language training in Iraq in the light of the importance of training mother language. On 23.09.1958 a weekly literary newspaper called Beşir was published Beşir is a sixteen page weekly newspaper published in Turkish-Arabic. The concessionaire of Beşir newspaper is Muhammed Emin Asri. Tehe editor in chief of the newspaper is lawyer Muhammed Hacı İzzet and the editor in chief is attorney Ata Terzibaşı. The building of the newspaper is in Kirkuk Avkaf Street. The annual subscriptin fee of the newspaper is 1 Iraqi Dinar and the price of the copy is 16 filis. Scientific, literary, sanitary and political newpapers were published in Kirkuk Printig House. Beşir newspaper ceased to be published on March 17. 1959 after 26 issues were published.
