Abstract

Literature can be considered an essential part of the culture, identity, and development of the majority of the nations in the world. In other words, ancient literature and the works of poets of any nation are a constitutional part of its history.So,working to develop and conduct research about this history, will brighten today’s gloomy paths and step forward toward a glistening future. Literature has its importance and value, especially within the framework of a particular poet, so this article is devoted to “Praise in Kurdish poems of Sheikh Reza Talabani”. There is no independent work has been done on it,and what has been done before is in the forms of poetic books and short pieces of work. This poetic purpose, like any other poetic content and purpose, is related to several conditions and reasons as well as has its principles and characteristics, simultaneously being reflected in the content and poetic text in various ways. Historically, this poetic purpose is related to the content of the text,part of the expression of the poet's love for a subject and phenomenon, or for a historical, national, religious, and social figure. Sheikh Reza Talabani is one of the great poets of our nation, he is considered to be the founder of the Praise school of poetry”in Kurdish classical poetry. At the same time, he had a great impact in the field of poetic praising, as well as dozens of such beautiful and noble examples of this poetic purpose can be seen in his book.
