Abstract

The history of language teaching is an example of an enigma, When a person wants to learn a language, should know all the rules and details about the target language. This is especially important in terms of grammar. In this context, knowing the level of individuals who want to learn Turkish is very important and essential in terms of education. The determination of the level of the people helps the individual in learning the language in language education-teaching and ensures that the problems are resolved quickly. The Ottoman Empire, which ruled the Middle East from the 15th century to the 20th century, is very important in terms of education history. While children who are between the language of the society and the mother tongue have different abilities, they cannot reach the desired level of thinking in primary school age; however, the mother tongue level of these children is higher at the age of starting primary education. This study includes the Iraq region, which includes a part of the Middle East lands. It covers the opinions of bilingual Turkish teachers living in Iraq about the students and is obliged to take into account the difficulties that students generall was prepared in the villages around Kirkuk and the region that includes Kirkuk city center. In addition, the study is limited to opinions about students and those who teach Turkish lessons in Şumul schools in Kirkuk.
