Abstract
The Emirate of Ardalan was founded by the Pope of Jordan in the thirteenth century AD. Several successive princes ruled the Emirate in an almost independent manner. The geographical borders of the Emirate are located between the Ottoman and Safavid states. When there was a violent conflict between them, and both of these states wanted to seize the areas under the rule of the emirate as part of Kurdistan, especially the Ottoman state during the reign of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent, Ali exerted his political and military efforts to seize the emirate.
The research includes three chapters, an introduction to the main topic, and a conclusion. The first chapter includes a historical and geographical introduction to the Emirate of Adrian. The second chapter covers the emergence of the Safadi state and local changes. The final chapter includes a study of Relations between the Ardalan Emirate and the Ottoman Empire for 1520-1566AD
