Abstract
This study “ Israel between religion and secularism “ deals with religious dimension of contemporary policy of Israel.
To conceive this policy we have to unveil the historical and religious background of Israel as thought and state, because Israel presented itself to the world as liberal and secular state, while on the contrary , Israel is a religious state based upon Zionist ideology which has no relation with Judasim as Abrahamic faiths.
Finally, this study will focus upon following points:
1- Zionist movement between religion and secularism.
2- Al- Quds in Jewish theology.
3- Al- Quds in contemporary policy of Israel.
4- The role of Jewish fandamentalism in Israel society and state.
