Abstract
The present paper studies the history of kirkuk city during the years of British rule. It
shows how Iraq was invaded by the British forces and how mast of iraq was occupied by the British military forces by May 1918. The study shows how kirkuk was followed by the British invaders and how the national resistance started in Iraq.
