Abstract


The current paper entitled " Aggressive Psychological Causes behind extremism sheds light on the causes behind violence and extremism . This issue attracted the attention of the global public opinion lately . World events stage witnessed many terrorist activities that trespassed the boundaries of one state , thus acquiring a global identity and a crime against world system and security of human community .

The paper also tries to explore the aggressive psychological causes behind extremism , to arrive at the psychological aspects affecting extremism trying to give them a helping hand to protect them from extremism and violence , since preventing them from achieving their aim caunot be done by threats and punishment , but by religious advice that fortifies them , and hence eradicate the causes behind them .

The paper is divided in to three sections . Section one deals with the concept of extremism and Islam's stance of it . Section two tackles the psychological causes behind extremism . Section three deals with the treatment of extremism . The paper then concludes with the main Findings of the paper .
