Abstract

This paper is a useful journey in the world of poetry especially the Iraqi prose Iyric. This topic is interesting after shedding light on an Iraqi literary and mental group which is the kirkuk group who have proved to be a revolution in the world of poetic writing through a new poetic style in Iraq. This group is affected by the western poetry especially the western prose lyric.
This paper is searching the world of this type of poetry through shedding light on that group and an account on their lives, works and the factors that paved the way to their movement. It also accounts for
their role in Arabic poetry especially in Iraq. Besides, it deals with the most significant techniques used in the poems of the kirkuk group after a brief introduction on the poetic language and music without neglecting the theoretical framework of the characteristics and Limitations of their poems.
The works of the kirkuk group are considered a clear proof on the social, economic and political injustice which they have suffered from away from the effects of the left thoughts on their literary works
