Abstract :

This study tries to shed light on the role of woman in Turkish
Independence War 1919-1922 .
It falls into seven sections as follows :
1- The conditions of Turkish Woman from the late Ottoman period to the end of the independence war .
2- The independence war , its reasons and effects and this section shows the suffering of the Turkish people during this war .
3- The role of woman in the independence war and the activities of Turkish women in some of the Turkish provinces like Sivas , Kastamonu , Kahraman marash, Deneezly and Istanbul .
4- The relation of khaida Adeeb’s to Mustafa Kemal.
5- The decline of Khalida Adeeb’s relation to Mustafa Kemal and her departure to exile .
6- The achievements of the Turkish woman after the victory and the establishment of the Turkish Republic oct.29,1923.
