Syrian - Egyptian Relationships 1961 – 1967.

The Syrian – Egyptian relationships was between continual improving and story cooperation during the fifties of the twentieth century and competition and extreme irritation which had reached to struggle and dis connectivity during the sixties of the mentioned century, in which we can say that the feature of strength in cooperation and competition was the dominant feature on these relation during that time.
This study deals with the relation between Syria and Egypt during the period 1961 – 1967, that is to say from detachment of the tow countries on September,1961 till the initiation of the Arabian – Israeli war on June,1967, the Syrian – Egyptian relationship have witnessed important political developments during that time. These developments had advantages and disadvantages effects on the development of the relationships between the tow countries.
The period which had come after the detachment of the Syria from Egypt on September, 1961, their relationships had reached to dis connectivity and the emergence of information expeditions between them. While the period at which Syria had witnessed coup movement on 23 of February, 1966, because it had resulted with position changes in the Syrian foreign policy towards the relationships with Egypt and the return of diplomatic relations between Damascus and Cairo which had resulted with the entrance of the tow countries in common defense agreements then their in common entrance on June war 1967 against Israel.
