Abstract

The study sheds light on women s suicide by fire , the causes as well as the relationship of this phenomenon with some variables as age , educational level and social background .
The study has shown that a high degree of the suicide women are of the age of fifteen to twenty – five . Besides , suicide is practiced among all educational level , from a layman to a university level . It is greater in the countryside them in the city . the study has also revealed that the most obvious reasons behind this phenomenon are the forced marriage and family problems . mostly . there is a pre-threat for suicide before committing it and there may be even many attempts for doing so . Finally , the study has proved that the majority of women regret committing suicide , feel depressed and here a desire for death .
