Abstract
The present study deals with refusal as stylistic study in Ibn Zaydoon’s poetry. The word ‘refusal’ is defined in the in the introduction linguistically and terminologically. Then a short survey of the poet is given. The study falls into two sections; section, one is entitled, Refusal in the form of interrogation, section two is entitled ‘Refusal in the forms of Negation, condition, vocation, and in other forms. Moreover, the study tackles the pronoun ‘I’ as an element to state refusal .His worth mentioning that the eclectically procedure is a doped in the paper. The paper end with conclusions of the study, as well ad a list of references consulted.
