Abstract
This research ( Iran's missiles ability) deals with the ability of Iran to own missiles. The last Iranian-Iraqi war at 1980s and the Iraqi missiles ability to strike some targets inside the Iranian provinces as ( Khozstan, Elam, Bakhtran, Kurdstan, western Atherbaijan), and the huge human and economic loss that Iran got by Iraq made Iran think to own the missiles ability. Iran tried to get benefit from the experiences of the countries that have military development. Iran got benefit from Russia which can be considered as the basic source for Iranian military technology. The second country is China which exports missiles technology to Iran. Also there is relationship between Iran and Northern Korea which help Iran with the military field.
Iran is trying to develop the missiles that have different ranges. Some of them are of the short range (150 km), some of them are of the medial range (300-500 km) some of the medial missiles are of 300-800 km which are Chinese ones, and some of them are of long range (1300 km). Iran tried to develop some missiles which have more than 3600 km in 2002. In 2005 Iran developed a copy from the Korean missile ' Tibo Dong 1 ' which has a range of 5000 km. So, Iran has missiles of different range and tries to own a high quantity for these missiles.
Since Iran is trying to own such kinds of missiles it is making a big threat for the neighboring countries like The Arabic Gulf Countries and all the Middle East Countries. This threat led the above countries to adopt a refusing attitude against owning Iran the missiles ability. For example, Israel looks to the Iranian missiles ability as a threat because Israel thinks that Iran is trying to destroy it. USA, on the other hand, tried to use some kinds of the political and economical pressure on Iran which made Iran alone in its logistic and global surrounding. The European situation is represented by admitting that Iran becomes one of the countries that have petrol-gas power and there was another confession about the Iranian military technology which is represented by using the nuclear power for the peaceful things and the Russian support for Iran.
