Abstract

This paper tackles the importance of heritage with its different topics in the modern story considering it as the main source that helps in providing the narrative speech with enriching information .
I started my paper with a theoretical preface at which I propose the authority (religious authority ) from the linguistic side , then the idiomatic one and I showed the difference between reference and authority in the light of definitions.
It is possible that the authority may occupy the literary work . So the presence of the religious side is of importance as compared with other embedded ones , because it is considered a sticked heritage with the Arab narrator . Tales came to play an important role in enriching the contemporary text , since past is part of present .
The historical meaning also played a great role in enriching speech text with information that carry great purports .
The mythical content may agree with fact or not , but we can say that it takes part in forming the narrator artistic meaning in the narrative text.
