Abstract

Before World War 1 , Great British did not pay much consideration to the utilization of the Indian army in defending its interests in Europe and other parts of the world using large numbers of enlisted soldiers . However , the participation of the Indian army in World War 1 proved its ability and efficiency . Thus, the British strived to organize this army and Develop it to serve their interest ….. this had an impact on the its modernization , development .
The study included three main sections ; the first considered the Indian army and its divisions in 1914 , the second covered the subject of its enlistment during the World War 1 , While the third section considers the Indian army after World War 1 .
