Abstract
The attitude of Syria from the Algerian case 1954-1962
The Algerian revolution started at November 1954, as a result of the colonial policy that had been practised by the France towards Algeria. The Algerian case got much attention from Arab and international community especially Saudi Arabia, subject of research.
The Algerian revolution constituted a compatibility and Syrian – Algerian harmony where Syria had a government and nation. The two had a unified abstract and concrete position at the side of the national liberation Algerian war. Syria had presented all types of political and financially support to the Algerian case. It supported Saudi in the frame of Arab League from the early starting point. The Syria had contributed with Arabic and Islamic countries in supporting the Algerian case in the United Nations especially the efforts that had been done for recording the case on the table of United Nations works since 1955 till the independence of Algeria in 1962.
The Syrian people had a supporting position to the Algerian revolution, it enhanced Syria financially and abstractly by collecting money inside Syria and by demonstrations that refused the abusive policy that had been done by France towards Algeria.
